Pda has gps , don't know how to use it !

My Hx2490 has something called gps in control panel it allows me to set gps program ports and gps hardware ports . But it doesn't seem to do anything !! Do I need extra equipment to use this feature ?

Dude, as far as I am aware, your pda doesn't have a gps receiver. If you want to use gps with google maps or something, you need to buy a seperate gps mouse and plug it in and set it up.

You will need a bluetooth GPS receiver - there isn't one built into the HX2490, the option is just there because windows mobile supports GPS devices.

You will then need to install mapping software, such as tomtom, etc. Or one of the free ones like google maps, or live maps, but these need a Internet connection.
