Its the remote for the RDR 710.

Can anyone tell me how to input the Philips TV code for this remote as its so long ago that I have forgotten.

Also is the Philips code 06?

According to the online manual

1. Slide the TV/VIDEO switch to TV
2. Hold down the power/standby button
3.Enter the Tv manufacturers code,using the numbers buttons.
4.Release power/standby button.

Philips code(s): 06,07,08,23,45,72

Genius and many thanks. I have a similar remote for a Sony set top box but the only difference is that you finish with the enter button. I also spent ages on the Sony site but the remote model number brought up no results.

No problem,glad to help.
The search facility on the Sony website is poor,even when you enter the correct model,it will often show zero results.
Yet when you select the equipment type list,the same model appears on the list.
