I've just heard Camoron advertising central heating on my local radio station and he uses the thumb over windpipe line in it. Is there no escape from him. I guess thats the price I have to pay for living in Scotland!

Aha! I've finally sussed him.
Those late night bitching sessions had nothing to do with his real feelings at all. They were designed so that he had a stock of catchphrases on exiting the house! He's now putting them to good use.
Expect the next ad to be for shampoo 'minus the pee'
Then one for Shoes 'you can get sh*t on them - no problem'
Boxing gloves ' to punch them to the back of the throat'
Eggs 'great for throwing at your enemies'
Finally Drink Driving 'don't do it, its not big and its not clever'

Yes unfortunately it is. I live in Irvine which you can see on the map you have provided a link to. Julian stays in Ayr which is about 15 miles down the road from me and is where the radio station (West FM) is based that the advert was on.
I heard the ad again a couple of times tonight it starts off with Cam saying "I'd like to put my thumb over the windpipe causing this draft" then he babbles on a load of crap about the central heating company called CHAS. It's a really tacky and cringeworthy advert and is putting me off listening to the radio now. The advert was previously voiced by Alex Ferns (Trevor in Eastenders) and I hope they bring that version on again soon.
LOL @ Fizzbin thats so true it's just a pity it's us poor buggers in Scotland have to listen to them

Cam away my arse, i went from 4 to bbc scotland and the numpty between 2 an 3 o'clock was sobbing my ear full of something, that cameron stout would have touched a door in bbc aberdeen and nobody is supposed to touch it again
