Hi. I have the samsung LE37R88 tv, ive noticed i have a slot for a CI CAM card on the side of the tv. What exactly is this for, can i buy say a cable card of sky card for premium channels etc?.

It's there as it's a regulatory condition imposed by the EU.
It's primary use in the UK market is for DTT PAY services, it's pretty useless for cable or satellite lacking tuners for either. |

Be aware the DTT service is different to the Dsat service.
