Um Bongo - was that those juiceboxes with the pully-outy straw? (like an extendable straw) or have I got it confused..

If it is what I think it is, I haven't seen these in a while either.. ().

Yep you can still buy Kia Ora

Not sure about Um Bongo though

Didn't they once bring out Um Bongo, under the name Ognob Mu? (Um Bongo backwards)

yes they did

As someone said, they still sell it but it's not nearly as good as it used to be

And in the same vein... i used to really like that concentrated baby 'Orange Juice' ... for Orange, it
had quite a distinct taste..... i don't know if you can still get that...... i don't check the Baby Stuff aisle in Tescos.. not having any Ankle Biters.....

Everywhere sells Kia-Ora, well the 1 litre bottles (and often 2 litre bottles) where you make up the squash yourself.

Often on offer for 50p for a 1 litre bottle at supermarkets or 2 litres for £1.

Poundland and 99p stores sell 2 x 1 litre bottles or 1 x 2 litre bottle for £1 / 99p.

They've always been available, it just the prices went up to something silly until about 3 years ago where they've now dropped the prices to try and get back the market share they lost.

Might as well have the whole song -

Way down deep in the middle of the Congo,
A hippo took an apricot, a guava and a mango.
He stuck it with the others, and he danced a dainty tango.
The rhino said, "I know, we'll call it Um Bongo"
Um Bongo, Um Bongo, They drink it in the Congo.
The python picked the passion fruit, the marmoset the mandarin.
The parrot painted packets, that the whole caboodle landed in.
So when it comes to sun and fun and goodness in the jungle,
They all prefer the sunny funny one they call Um Bongo!
