This was published earlier... it mentions about the contract to use Elstree for two years more

We will be back says Big Brother

• Channel 4 has signed a deal to use Elstree Film and Television Studios to stage the Endemol UK production for another two years and Big Brother 5 will "definitely" be returning to Borehamwood next year.
• "Beyond that, when the contract is up it will be looked at again", said a spokesman for Channel 4.
• Back at the launch for this year's show, Big Brother Executive Producer Gigi Eligoloff said: "Elstree has been fantastic for the team, we love the studio and the house. We are planning on staying as we would like the continuity."
• In the meantime, the Big Brother house will remain at the studios as a permanent fixture; it will be available for hire, and sponsors will be running competitions for members of the public to win parties in it.

It also provides the perfect excuse to stop inviting the public along to evictions. I've a feeling they might go for that next year, given the fact there's so many boos now....

Well, they had the opportunity to trial it with Gos's eviction and as I viewer I felt alot more comfortable seeing the evictee greated by just Davina and his family, then given a loud cheer in the studio than seeing a housemate booed out of the house. I also think he gave a better interview because of it.

Maybe axing the crowds for the evictions in favour of a select studio audience (housemates families/friends, a small number of fans). I do think they should be their for the final though.

I don't know...
I rememebr it was during Adele's eviction from BB3 that I first thought "No one should have to got rhough that" but then aagin they have signed up for the game and it does make compulsive Gladiator style TV.
I haven't like the studio and the feel of the studio shows at Elstree however... I miss Bow...
