DTI6300 frequency issues

I have had a DT6300 since christmas and it has been working fine. When scanning for channels from our local (and only) transmitter I could only get 5 of the 6 Mux frequencies. This didn't bother me too much as the missing one was the TUTV and shopping channels which I'm not interested in. The missing Mux A does carry channel 5 which I would like to get however.

The other day I did a rescan and it picked up all 6 Mux frequecies and 90 programs. It also downloaded 26 TUTV programs. In spite of this it only appears to have 2 Mux frequencies and 65 programs. Pretty much it seems to have the programs I was missing but not any of the ones I already had only minutes before.

I have deactivated all the TUTV and finally carried out a full factory reset but all to no avail. Can anyone help get the other chanels back please?

This is a common problem which has resulted by transmission changes on all Transmitters.

The advice is, not to rescan.

But unfortunatel for you that's abit late.

Try the advice in this thread: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...28&postcount=6

Thanks for the advice I'll give it a try.

Since my last post I have found other sources that seem to suggest the problem is due to transmitter changes, as you suggest. Apparently a new version of software is to be released?

Who creates this software - is it manufacturer, Thompson, or is it the TUTV crowd?

The software is written and developed by TUTV engineers with input from Thomson when necessary
