IF you have a spare phone unlocked take that and get a local sim, its cheaper, using your contract sim will result in a heavy bill, its such the easy way out, i remember when i was on o2 I was just too darn lazy, lucking im on Orange and as much as i kinda hated them for having to activate the option for your phone to work outside the UK i didn't so i ended up getting a cheap paygo local sim and a cheap phone, so now i have a spare phone and saved money compared to using my normal phone. The choice is yours. Also you can get your phone unlocked instead of buying a cheap one.
