I saw the last 10 minutes of Who Dares Sings the other night.

DVO what were you thinking of? On IDO she was introduced as West End leading lady, this tosh hardly does much for her credibility.

On IDA, she was always the one who was quick to call someone cabaret or cheesy. Pot - kettle?

Hate this program, it's absolute rubbish and the singers are usually pants, can't see ITV asking for a second series unless the ratings are higher than I am anticipating?

Ashley should have that to her when DVO called her cheesy.

It might be more fun if it was on later when I have a couple of glasses of wine.

I still think DVO - Queen Cheese has a bit of a cheek. Or am I am thinking of Barrowman?

Why watch such a piontless show. It isn't fun, but annoying. It's just cheep tv. Please make it stop! I watched about 10 minutes of the show and then got irritated. Go down the pub and listen to the same thing. I want to start a petition to have the show banned. I feel sorry for DVO.. she should do something better with her time.

I saw the finale - once. That was enough. The show is cheap - through and through.

I don't think the show is meant to be anything other than cheesy fun for karoke lovers It won't appeal to everyone.

And I don't feel too sorry for DVO - she apparently has so much TV work lined up, she has had to quit her breakfast show on Capital Radio!

The Sky show - Hairspray - the School Musical' - sounds interesting.

It seems DVO is also be planning a return to the West End stage.

It's not a singing show though, it's a game show. No worse than "Don't Forget the Lyrics" really... I don't understand why they have to sing at all in that programme!

I have to say it doesn't really appeal to me though. I watched one episode out of curiosity and was a bit stunned by it. The format isn't great and the way the computer works is sometimes very random!

I think Ben Shepherd has more to worry about than Denise though... I'm not really sure why he's there at all.

Yes, Ben Shepherd is a bit of a non-entity. BS & DVO are rather an odd pairing. You'd think they would have got someone livelier to match DVO's personality.

Denise has always been fabulous at working the media and good luck to her.

I agree that she is great at working the media!!!

I don't see anything wrong with this programme really. It is cheesy but Karaoke is!! It won't be to everyone's tastes, but they have the choice to switch off if they don't want to watch it.. no one is forcing them too!

I normally quite like Ben Shepherd though! I think he does quite well on GM:TV, he just doesn't seem to fit on this. Especially when they all sing at the end, cause he isn't a singer

His jeans bother me in Who Dares Sings too, but that's just a personal problem I think

I haven't really seen BS before. DVO is a trained singer and seems to have the better personality to present this prog,.

I normally like Ben Shephard as well, but there's something about him that just doesn't seem right with this programme.

Perhaps as Ewoodie has said Denise seems to have the better personality to present it!

It's probably not her idea. She's probably the presenter. I could see DVO making a good Velma Von Tussle.

She is presenting it, she's been set a challenge from Sky.

It says more about it here.

I think it's a great opportunity for the school.

Yeah, for loadsamoney and who can blame her. She might as well take it while it's there. Her career could be on it's uppers anytime, while Lee's career soars.

Oo-er, anyone, seen A Star Is Born?

Yep, who can blame her? She's taking a job which she'll enjoy I think anybody would grasp an work opportunity if it was right for them and it's what they wanted to do, no matter if their career was on its uppers or soaring.

How do you know she'll enjoy it? She's NOT doing it for love but money. BTW I don't think her career is on it's uppers.

I didn't say you did .
I was just making a general point, same as the comment I made about her enjoying it.

Oophs - thought perhaps you had inside information and her prime motivation wasn't money.

Equally you don't know her prime motivation is money.

At a guess, I'd say she was earning more on Capital, and had a longer contract and relatively less work and fewer hours to do than she'll have with this one.
