Essentially, everyone works for the money. Who Dares Sings was so tacky, I'd guess the money was the main attraction and I don't suppose you can blame her.
As for the Sky prog, Denise is a savvy woman, so even if she is earning less money, there's sure to be some other motivation for presenting the prog. Maybe she's joining the cast of Hairspray in the future. It would be good publicity. I've seen Hairspray and personally, I think she'd make a really good Velma Von Tussle.
