News Article From Ananova

Quote :-
Big Brother contestant Ray Shah had a mid-air drama when a helicopter door burst open in flight.

The Irishman, who was runner-up in this year's Channel 4 show, is scared of heights and had to be calmed by fellow passengers.

Former One True Voice singer Anton Gordon was also shaken up by the incident as they returned from a nightclub launch party in Sheffield.

Dane Bowers and Ben Ofoedu from one-time chart-toppers Phats & Small were also in the aircraft.

They were flying back from an event last night at superclub Gatecrasher One to the heliport at Battersea in south London.

Gatecrasher spokesman Gerard Franklin said: "Dane Bowers and Ben Ofoedu were both very courageous and reacted quickly to close the door and avert what could have been a serious incident and to calm down both Ray and Anton who were clearly shaken by the incident.

"The guys landed safely at Battersea airport and I think they then went straight off to the pub to calm their nerves."

They got off lightly. I'm surprised that with so many crap 'celebrities' sharing the same space at one time, the universe itself didn't implode.

LOL

What happened to them does sound like a very scary experience, but I do have to say that if Ray is scared of heights then choosing to travel by helicopter wasn't a very sensible decision in the first place.

Ray definitely seems to have found his spiritual home in the Z-list 'celebrity' league if the company he keeps is anything to go by. Congratulations Ray, you have all the star wattage of Dane Bowers and a member of One True Voice.

Maybe he couldn't resist asking Dane Bowers if it was true about him and Tania - and Dane tried to chuck him out

No - but in terms of artwork I hear Jon's quite keen on collecting watercolours - whilst Annouska has a fascinating collection of sculptures.

David Blaine could have lived suspended in the BB garden for the final 44 days. It would have added to the excitement

I was wondering myself,.what situation came about, in which so many poor quality celebs had got together at the same time,..and ended up in a helicopter.

You couldn't write a better situation that is a surefire recipe for such wacky shenanigans.

Get one drunk helicopter pilot,..the crappest selection of z-list celebs,..and stuff 'em all in a knackered old helicopter, then sit back and watch the hilarious consequences.

Ray's hardman image has just lost all credibility now.
Okay,..fair enough,..most people would be scared in such a situation.
But it would be a cold day in hell before I let a load of boyband members comfort me, and look after me.
For me, that would be the most humiliating experience I could possibly imagine...That's the worst, most embrassing bit for me.
Strewth....I just wouldn't be able to live that down.

Any men here?....How would you feel if you were so shit-scared of something,....that you ended up being comforted by Dane Bowers...and he put his arm around you, and said,.."There, there,..don't cry,...I'll look after you"
Oh,.God,..that would be so humiliating,..I'd want the ground to open up and swallow me,..I'd never be allowed to live that down.
I can almost feel embarrassed for Ray.
Can you imagine him sobbing like a little girl, and being cuddled by a boy band member?...(winces).
