Missing channels
dmp

Hi all, I've a dmreh60 which is missing at least 1 digital channel. I know it's the unit as I have 4 other digital which receive the channel. I tried a rescan with no success, I then tried with out the aerial then with the aerial, still no success, has anyone any ideas how to force a complete channel scan with out losing my library.
Many thanks Dave

Hi Dave

Auto setup restart will do it... but will probably make no difference if a clean out and rescan have failed so far.

Your recordings will remain unaffected.

Which channel is missing? ... and do you know which transmitter you receive from?

With that information the mux responsible can be deduced.

The likelihood is that the missing mux will be at one end of the band or the other where aerial response tails off.

Also try scanning at night , with the aerial connected as directly as possible with as few connections as possible en route.
This may be enough to bring the mux in above the reception threshold.

Hi Gavtech, many thanks for the reply, I reread my manual last night and came to the same conclusion about the auto restart, tried it and it worked, the channel I was missing was Citv channel 75, not 1 I normally watch but my grandson wanted a couple of discs made, but with the problems he had to make do with 1 disc.
