Corro - Nicks Return
How did Nick let himself into Gail's house?
Because after the Richard Hillman storyline she had the locks changed when the alarm was installed. So he didnt have the right key. Also it is a Yale lock, so the door will only open with a key(can not be every left unlocked). Any ideas ppl. ?? |

Well i was thinking that same thing also. But the door can't have Yale locks on anymore, as earlier Sarah had let herself in, as did Audrey, and then Nick.
If it is a Yale lock, then the door could have been left on the latch but i doubt it

...........lol............. its quite funny actually how people just walk into peoples homes without knocking or anything.
Same with telephones, everyone is just able to answer the phone on the first ring, lol.. I'm surprised they don't start saying there script before they answer it! LOL

I always think its odd how everyone always finds a job in the street in which they live.
And ... if someone is homeless, a neighbour will always take them in That doesnt happen round my way Ooops sorry, off topic. |

Talking of correct change/money Mike Baldwin always asks for a pack of his "favourite cigars" to avoid advertising. Like you do.

Yeh, and in the pub ya never get anyone asking for a bottle of Smirnoff or Carlsberg :s.
Bit unrealistic anyway. Who would buy something just because Mike Baldwin smokes them! |

Yes ,and I am 46, live "oop north" and have YET to find any pub ever where they bring you the drinks to were you are sat!! (I've been to Manchester, Bradford, Barnsley Leeds etc......nope, never happened!)
And that's 30 years of boozing that! |

cathraff, I'm going all nostalgic now!!
Actually, the nearest I can get to how they go about things in the Rovers is The White Horse (Nellies!) in Beverely, Yorks as last time we were in they not only brought over the chip butties but the booze as well! But as a rule it's not the custom in all the northern pubs (yorks, lancs, lincs) that I know! There are still some pubs about unspoilt but not many and its just like the old cinemas - I miss them too!! Any way back on topic.... Nick's return!! Nice to see Gail totally annoying him as well!! As for the door lock, sack continuity! |

I was shouting when I saw Mr Nick return. It's all good! That boy got it going on. I mean who else do the sisters have to look at? Mr Tyrone or Mr Kirk (kee-hee) Mr Todd is cute but Chile no one looks as good as Mr Nick.
