Since Monday 27th June 08 neither of the two Thompson TUTV boxes I have will switch on until i pull the plug. (both fail each evening)

I wondered if there had been an upgrade (or downgrade), but there's been no upgrade messages.

I have just noticed a new TUTV channel Warner TV is activated - could this have caused the problem?

It's a real pain as I had stuff on series link, that they have missed - now i'll have to buy the DVDs!

I have just posted the same problem on the Kafta Forum. I have had the won't switch on problem for some weeks as well. However, my problem is not daily. On average it happens about once a week. I also lose scheduled recordings. It may be better not to switch the thing to standby in the first place.

If I were you, I'd watch any important recordings then factory reset the box. A major pain in the backside I know
