Humax 9200 decides you have had enough

Hi

This seems to be happening more often for us now. We watch successfully several episodes of something set using series link then after a while we realise some programs have stopped appearing in the recording list. When we check the recording schedule there are no signs of the series linked schedule for the program, it's been deleted, and this has happened well inside the 13 week time span.

Anyone else noticed this? Very annoying as we suddenly realised recently that two programs have stopped appearing and then through a trailer discovered they were indeed being broadcast every week!

Regards

Phil

This has happened to me. Noticed when I got back from holiday last week that Dinosapian has vanished from the schedule. Have emailed this to Humax at uksupport@humax-digital.co.uk so I hope this is the right email address to use. If anyone else has this happen please also send an email to Humax. If its a bug hopefully they can put a fix in a firmware upgrade.

I am keeping an eye on my timers...

Indeed this has happened since .21 came out.

Definately a bug somewhere. I personally believe there are other bugs that are common to (missed recordings, disk corruption, Top Gear always missing the last few mins etc).

Maybe its simple memory leakage from untrapped errors.

This happens to me a lot but mostly on ITV. It's the reason why I only use the Humax as a backup for my Sky+.

I originally wanted to move all terrestrial stuff onto the Humax to free up the Sky+ for Sky only channels but the Series Link just isn't reliable enough on the Humax. Not even close.

Using the Humax as a backup for Sky+... goes to say how reliable the Sky+ is!!

We use tvtorrents as a backup to the 9200.

One of my more useful purchases since the 9200t was a Philips DIVX capable DVD player with a USB slot in the front, for such occasions as these!

I find the different on demand players very good if we have missed something altogether or if the last couple of minutes are missing.
Saying that the timings are getting much better with AR.
Mind you have to realise that you have missed it within a week because that is the time the programmes are available for.
