Francesca to star in 'Can't Smile Without You'!
I thought I'd start a new thread for this! Francesca will be playing Lucy in the new Barry Manilow musical: Quote:
CAN’T SMILE WITHOUT YOU From: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=20604067247THE NEW BARRY MANILOW MUSICAL Bill Kenwright’s brand new musical love story CAN’T SMILE WITHOUT YOU will be produced out of the Churchill theatre Bromley (from 28 August 2008), and then embark on a national tour (starting at the Liverpool Empire on 15th September) prior to the West End. The story centres around an aspiring young band who, on a visit to New York, come across an opportunity not to be missed - auditions for the latest reality TV show to find the next pop music sensation. When the TV company offers lead singer Tony a chance to appear on the show, the other band members give him their unconditional blessing. But before Tony can realise his dream, he is caught up in a tragic sequence of events which leaves him fighting for his life. Left with no memory his dreams are all but shattered. His only hope lies in the power of the music he loves and his feelings for a girl he once knew called Mandy… BOOK by TIM PRAGER DIRECTED by KEITH STRACHAN and BILL KENWRIGHT CHOREOGRAPHY by CAROLE TODD MUSICAL DIRECTION by JOHN MAHER She'll be starring alongside Chesney Hawkes and Siobhan Dillon (of HDYSAPLM!)
