Hi

I have recently got s Samsung T100 on contract with orange. Since the start it has been nothing but problems, i am now hitting nearly 50+ calls to their customer service.

Is anyone else having problems with their service?

Gary

This summer I kept getting network busy but I just put this down to the thousands of mad holiday makers that flood into Scarborough in the summer season, I think they must have overloaded the network this was really annoying I couldn't make a call for hours sometimes.

I've had endless problems with Orange Contract:

Lost calls, crap network signal where all other networks are great, poor customer services, inaccurate bills, phone calls from orange saying I have free upgrades when I do not (though they have aplogised for this), constant network busy messages... the list goes on..... had no problems on Vodafone

When i first came to uni there used to be big problems with network bust around 19::00 - 20:00 every day as all the Everyday 50 users were clogging the network - this cleared up after a few months.

With Orange customer service - there are some idiots their (both Business and Personal), but their are also some stars there - if you are lucky to get through to one of these they will do everything they posibly can (even if it means bending the rules) to sort your problems - unfortunatly these people are few and far between - and all are Scousers with extreamly strong accents so understanding them can be a mission (this from someone who people from down south thinks is a scouser ).

Customer Service is Orange's weak point, but saying that ntl (2001-2002) still succeed in making Orange CS look high quality (not saying much though!)....

I have been on Orange (contract) for 5 years now... Largely I find things great, however this year, in March I think, I had my usual bill, and it looked as though they had credited me £80 odd pound for some reason.. I didn't question it, but sure enough they noticed the problem and corrected things on the next bill..

Too good to be true that they were giving calls away!!

I do find a couple of annoying 'dead' spots on my travels where there really should be coverage too, like on the A5 through Milton Keynes close to the city centre, and on the M1 between 20 and 21. My work's Vodafone has no trouble in these locations.

Maybe this year when my contracts up is the year I swap networks.......

I've been with orange for about 2 years now and have no problems with them. Found them to be pretty good.
But I do know what you mean about some of the idiots that work in orange, my girlfriend works in one of the orange call centers n she says that a lot of the staff from other departments are rite idiots and cant be arsed half of the time!

If you are having hassle with Orange then you need to call the "Executive Office". They can usually fix most problems that the droids on 150 cannot.

Full details on contacting them (along with a load of other numbers) can be found here:
