Cams loving it, saw him in Stromness last saturday! He's a really well liked guy by all the local people that ACTUALLY know him and know the truth!

keep the funny stories up though.

I ask you.
A Cameron Radio Show?
...what's this?
A challenge to see if he can supress fun and enjoyment by audio alone like he did in the BB house the boring killjoy.
He managed to quench nearly every opportunity for fun in BB4 and it was great when he went to S A as the HMS only had Steph to play at parents.
He's a nothing total uninteresting person that epitomised BB this year - bin it and him!!
Best bit this year is all us BB fans everywhere, and lets face it, we tried to get SOME derived satisfaction but LAME about covers it.
Only the Tickle made it worth a look.

Cameron is the Great Satan I played that programme backwards and Im sure I heard messages of an evil hypnotic nature (I play all programmes backwards and usually this is not a problem)

He can come round mine for a chew of Orkney fudge anytime. (Think it's the challenge of an untouched man.... )

Cameron should just stop messing about with all his verbal threats and sign up to meet audley harrison the boxer who's constantly looking for easy opponents.

Well if he's willing to put sh** in shoes, god knows what he'd be willing to put in Audley's boxing gloves.

ps Listened to the radio show - even the bit where he was on the phone to callers sounded like he was reading a prepared speech. Wooden. Thankfully the music was nice.

what if you take into account the higher price for voting? divide the results by 2.5 for previous years!!

What if you take into account more young people using text votes?

What if you compare number of people voting in similar events like pop idol and the likes?

Add as many other factors as you want... the simple truth is...

♦ BB4 was a flop and roundly dismissed as boring

♦ The HMs were at large unappealing and self guarded

PS. BB3 and BB4 calls were 25p

The thing about the text votes is that they were used for the first time in BB3 and made a tremendous difference to the voting figures last year. I can't find the figures but I think I remember reading that the number of text votes halved this year and that was where the chief difference lay , rather than in the phone voting.

I just feel that if BB4 had followed on BB2 instead of 3 it wouldn't have been seen as such a flop. Its all relative. It got more viewers than BB2 which was seen as a phenomenal success at the time. I actually preferred BB2 over BB3 because I enjoyed watching the friendships develop rather than all the conflict we got in BB3. I remember hoping for more of the same when BB3 started and being dissapointed when I realised it was a different type of show. For me BB2 set the standard and I couldn't get into BB3 at all. But I do think for those who thought BB3 was fantastic it was a case of it being a hard act to follow.

It just isn't all down to Cameron that the show didn't measure up to people's expectations.

and just for the record.... I did enjoy BB4

I do think it’s a shame that Cam is perceived as less of a winner because he polled less votes than the previous winners. He did still fare best out of those that were left in the house and I reckon that without Cam there would not have been much of a show at all. At least he had a very strong personality which people could either love or hate. ”

Cameron is the least worthy winner of BBUK by an unfeasibly long chalk.

His profile was unfairly boosted by the trip to South Africa and the subsequent two weeks immunity from nomination. Had Cameron stuck it out in the house for the full nine weeks, I might concede you have a point but the fact is that he had an unfair advantage over all the other contestants.

As for having a "very strong personality". Tosh, I say. He has a constructed persona that conned a lot of ignorant people into liking him because Channel 4 very much edited the show in his favour - denying viewers to genuinely see some of his thoroughly objectionable "school playground" behaviour e.g. "I'll punch his lights out for that". Again, had we actually seen his "personality" warts and all on the Channel 4 broadcasts, I might again concede that you have a point but you don't.

Not just the worst winner, but one of the worst contestants ever. An utterly false, nauseating ****, and I still find it difficult to believe that anyone with an iota of intelligence could possibly find anything to like about him.

(above from Ben)

Too right! It was his blatant deceit that got to me. He went for the constructed naive persona which was manifestly at odds with his actual "real life" machinations.
Totally false and confirmed for me when he drew out his trump suit, namely, his bible/shield/safety blanket.
That was sickening, as he was acting it all up.
Pure unadulterated sham.

yep agree with all of that maisy, can't see why people like him but hey, they do and in that case whatever floats yer boat I suppose.

You either "see it" or you don't Grim!
Many of us saw the same thing, quite independantly.
He's not as cabbage looking as his tendancy for a green countenance, or summat!!

I'm sure other people "saw it" but ignored it. I know what I saw and it wasn't nice.

Liked your cabbage quote, very philosophical.

Grim! LOL! I chose to "like" the Tickle knowing full well I probably wouldn't like working for him but him and Phil (his twin)are all round good people, and I like him as he was/is himself. That counts for a great deal.
Cameron however was NOT the person he would want us to think he was on screen.
As for cabbages, they are NOT as naughty as tomatoes!!
(Jon, I still laugh at that!)

Sounds like we are on the same wavlength here maisy. Jon was my favourite too because despite whatever flaws he may have it's plain to see he is a good and genuine, decent person, and yes he makes me laugh.

Cameron though, didn't like him at all, false, two faced, potentially violent, just not nice.

Just my opinion.
