From digital spy

Alfie Moon will make desperate attempts to stop Kat Slater from marrying gangster Andy Townley, the News of the World reports today.

Amazingly, Kat will say "yes" to the hardman's proposal after he pops the question whilst Alfie is distracted from his relationship by Nana's worsening mental state.

Alfie gatecrashes their wedding in an attempt to stop her from making what he perceives to be a big mistake. Before he makes it into the church, however, he is roughed up by Townley's henchmen, leaving his shirt ripped and face smeared with blood.

Several possible endings to the storyline have been filmed to keep viewers guessing until the last minute.
Well well well......It seems at last Eastenders is making an effort.......Well it is about time too.....i mean almost half a year worth of complete tripe!

Lets hope this isn't another disapointment..........and not the usual.......one great week of episodes........another couple of weeks of crap thing that seems to be going on in EE at the moment!

Now lets just hope that in Corrie this Tracy storyline is over.......please let it be over

Erm no it doesn't.......i have read it four times now and i still dont see where it states that!

Heres the article in full=

THE EastEnders wedding of the year ends in trouble and strife when Alfie tries to stop Kat marrying...gangster Andy Townley.

Fans will be amazed when the hardman pops the question and Kat says ‘Yes!'

And we were there yesterday when the wedding scenes were filmed amidst tight security at St John's Church in Watford.

Our exclusive shots show Alfie's desperate attempts to stop the wedding going ahead.

He is roughed up by Townley's henchmen and when he finally comes face to face with Slater girl Kat, his shirt is ripped and his face and shirt are smeared with blood.

Kat's big day ends with a brawl outside the church, but viewers will be left guessing whether she actually marries Andy —or ends up getting hitched to Alfie, played by SHANE RICHIE.

Actress JESSIE WALLACE, 31, looked stunning in a cream satin wedding dress by Australian Maggie Sottero.

The strapless beaded gown, which set EastEnders bosses back £1,075, had a draped satin overlay, beautiful sweeping train and a basque-style lace-up design at the back.

She wore a diamante tiara and a simple Cartier-style diamond cross necklace with bracelet and ear-rings to match.

The Slater sisters Zoe and Lynne were bridesmaids and wore off-the-shoulder purple dresses.

Watching every second of yesterday's top-secret filming was Jessie's real life fiancé, Essex PC Dave Morgan.

The besotted copper, who popped the question after a whirlwind romance just weeks ago, dropped her off at the shoot in their new £80,000 Porsche.

And he stayed on to witness Jessie film EastEnders' biggest storyline of the year.

Actor MICHAEL HIGGS, who plays Andy, has revealed that the gangster moves in on Kat when Alfie becomes distracted by Nana's mental state.

Michael (right), said: "Andy pursues Kat relentlessly. He likes the fact that she is not intimidated by him, is upfront, and says what she feels."
But whether he gets the ring on her finger is anyone's guess. An insider said: "We're going to keep viewers guessing until the last minute. This will be one of the most memorable cliff-hangers in the show's history."

Additional reporting Jules Stenson.
Can anyone see any mention of Christmas ?........I rest my case

Just to confuse matters saturday's Daily Record had a front apge splash stating that parts of the Christmas episodes were to be filmed in Scotland (Jessie Wallace and Steve McFadden involved) and that a car crash would kill off a character. These have yet to be filmed tho...
