LG Orsay KC550
Hi does anyone own this handset to pass their opinions to me as I am seriously considering purchasing it?
Also I have heard that this phone is a bit slow responding to button presses, is that correct? Thanks in advance |

tbh I was considering the KC550 or the TF510 in the graded Grey - I'm not sure now. I know the KC550 has a 5MP camera, but I'm not liking the fact the memory card is hidden under the battery, whereas the tf510 has the card hidden in the slide mechanism so can be swapped.

Dirt cannot get in and, as what happened to a mate, it cannot be found to be stolen... |

It is safer under the battery.
Dirt cannot get in and, as what happened to a mate, it cannot be found to be stolen... when i mentioned the mem. card being under the batt, I made a mistake when i said that was the KC550, I was thinking about the KF600 (LG Venus) The KC550 ORSAY doe shave hot swappable mem. cards - covered slot on the side Sorry

I have looked at the Venus phone however the touch screen does not appeal to me, it just makes it more difficult to use in my opinion.

me personally, i'm going for the TF510, mainly because if I don't like it, I can always resell it on with no much fuss and wont lose too much (well, (£3 ish)

Well, I went into CPW today to purchase a new handset. Before buying it the salesperson let me have a fiddle with it and tbh, the KF510 isnt all its cracked up to be. The touch buttons were very sluggish - I had to leave a second between button presses (very annoying) screen and style of handset was very nice.
Because I didnt like that one I asked to have a look at the KF600 (Venus) Again the salesperson brought the phone out and let me have a fiddle - this one was just as bad, maybe not as bad to control, but all the same, I wasn't impressed. The top screen of this handset was alright in terms of screen quality, the bottom, when in use for anything other than the buttons, wasnt so good. Had I of purchased either of these two handsets, they would have been sold within a week or two, or it would have been thrown out of the window. Didnt get to see the KC550, however, the CPW literature says theuy are going to stock it some time soon - on what networks, I'm not sure. |
