Sony Erickson vs Nokia
My Sony Erickson phone has started turning itself off quite a lot lately, therefore, I am missing quite a few calls as a reult, I've always had Nokia and never had a problem but the chap in the phone shop told me this was the phone to have, haven't been very impressed. Im due for a upgrade in October and am thinking of getting a Nokia N95, anyone give me any reviews on this phone, good or bad

I have a Nokia N95 (original silver) and its fine. Mine's never crashed, my battery lasts for days, the camera is awesome. I have an 8gb memory card in mine so plenty of memory.
I hate Sony Ericsson phones. They always break on me or start flashing a black and white screen. |

I also have the N95, good phone, I got it after troubles with my K850i. Out of the two (IMO) the Sony wins hands down for build quality and the camera (I use for work) is much better but the crap, buggy software lets it down.
May be worth looking at the N96 it may be out in October. |

I must admit I do like Sony Ericsson phones and my last three handsets (k750, k800i and P1i) didn't give me any problems.
Yesterday I upgraded to Nokia N95 8GB and although a very nice phone which is packed full of features, I do believe the battery life is poor. My battery was needing recharged after being left on for 8 hours, however, I did have a few features runing in the background that I was not aware of and they probably used up a lot of the battery power. The phone is also a little thicker than what I am used to but it's nothing that I can't live with. Overall, it's a great phone and I will keep it for the remainder of my contract. |
