A few weeks ago i contacted the forum regarding my games and how i was getting the operation failed message. Now my phone has completely crashed! It brings the charging screen up when the phone is off and charging but when i turn it on, it vibrates and the buttons light up but thats it and it keeps doing it until i have to take the battery out!
Anyway of fixing this myself or even at all??? dissapointed as i had some decent pix and tunes on there

My sons SE W850I would vibrate when turned on and just hang on a white screen and keep flashing the white screen on and off and vibrating.

He took it to a stall on the same market he works at and the guy flashed the phone with new software.

It sorted his problem but he lost all the content and settings on his phone he took his memory card out so that content was untouched

Maybe a similar problem with a different model of SE phone

If your pictures are on a memory stick, I would remove that first. In case the phone manages to format it.

Secondly, the k850i has been a bizzare phone, various problems with it, and updating the firmware only brings new problems.

You can try updating the firmware/software using SEUS (http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/supp...iceapplication) if it allows you - other then that. There is not much you can try yourself.

Is your phone still under warranty? If so, you may be able to send it to Sony Ericsson, who may be able to fix it (and be able to retain your files on the phones storage).

Try for a new phone fromm your supplier before your upgrade as it is still under warranty as it is a "KNOWN FAULT" so even if its over 12months old you are still entitled.
