T816 rescan query

When I tune a TV or radio channel, and then perform an Automatic Channel Scan, I can still hear the sound while it performs the scan.

All the channels are found fine, but I would have thought that the tuner would have been needed to retune to each UHF channel.

Is it anything to do with that split NIT business that happened yesterday?

You're right, you do need a tuner for the scan, but you do have 2 of them so one is going spare. It's just down to design whether this remains active during the scan or not.

Thanks for your reply.

It's very strange considering it never used to do that up until recently.

Never mind, it's just one of those things.
