Any ideas as to what DVO might sing?
How about Mad About the Boy?

It says on the Ts and Cs for the ticket giveaway that they will notify successful applicants FROM the 20th August. At what point do we decide we haven't won and buy and is there a risk they'll be gone by then?
That's what I'm worried about!

Ooh thanks for that bit of info, I assumed the lucky people had been told by now. Still hope for me yet then!

Does anyone know in which part of Hyde Park the concert will be held? I'm not that familiar with London and need to sort out a hotel. Thanks!

Thanks too!

I was just about to ask if anyone had heard as I'm waiting.

Please post on here if you are lucky, so that we know when they are telling people...

(Fingers crossed)

Normally the concerts are held at the 'Hyde Park Corner' end of the park, near to Park Lane and the like.

Hi. Has anyone heard what time the concert is likely to finish/how long it will be on for? As i am trying to convince my mother to take me but we would have to get a late train back home as she would have work the next day. If only it was on the saturday, it would make things easier! lol Thanks if anyone can help though.

I know it starts at 6pm, so I don't think it will be too late.

I think a lot of the performers would be otherwise engaged on a Saturday...

WOW! Connie Fisher, Jonathan Ansell, Dean Collinson, Maria Friedman and Jodie Prenger have been added to the line-up as well.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/events/a...er/index.shtml
This concert is going to be the most fantastic thing in the world! Six (or rather, Seven) supreme leading ladies together ... Maria Friedman, Ruthie Henshall, Idina M, Elaine Paige, Connie and Jodie ... I wonder if they'll all perform a song together ... too much to ask for.
Is there a way to ask the BBC to televise this?

Aye I saw him this Morning.
He said it'd be interesting to see Joss Stone performing JCS or something like that.

I think I might nip to the loo while Joss Stone is on
JCS for me will now always be linked to Sam & Jodie's fab duet on IDA and I'd rather not hear it be ruined!

ETA - According to SeeTickets the event lasts for approx 3 hours.

Does anyone know what's the deal with Connie Fisher? Her name was down on the list on the Radio 2 website last week but it had mysteriously disappeared when I checked it this morning!

It seems Connie is back on.

And this article gives away the song the Josephs and Nancies are performing

My favourite Josephs are Daniel and Ben, my least favourite was Lewis. I really can't bare watching him. I'm not a huge fan of Keisha I thought she was overrated as was Niamh, I love Rachel though.
