Yeah I love Daniel and Ben as well, but I also love Lewis, Lee, Craig and Keith - so basically the top 6 from ADWD. And my favourite Nancies were Jodie, Sarah, Rachel, Niamh and Samantha, and my least favourite Joseph was Seamus and my least favourite Nancy has to be Jessie!!!!

I heard it was I Don't Know How To Love Him - and, as Jodie is also singing a song from JCS, I'm assuming that this is the song she's also singing (so it's a duet).

It's being broadcast on Radio 2 on 10th October at 7.30pm. There was a big notice on the giant screens last night.

I would've posted last night, but got back quite late. It was absolutely fantastic. Apart from Joss Stone, who totally butchered Jesus Christ Superstar , and Jason Donovan, who was a bit flat in places, but not bad. Oh, and Elaine Paige should stop singing Memory

I was very impressed with Rhydian, of all people . His Music of the Night from Phantom was amazing.

Jodie was as fantastic as ever. She sand You Must Love Me from Evita. Jessie sang I Don't Know How to Love Him from Superstar. Her performance was good, but she looked petrified. Which just showed that she's not Nancy material yet.

Agree with you about Jason D. & Elaine Paige; both past their prime, sadly.

Jodie & Jessie were both stunning. The group number from the Nancy/Josephs was excellent too.

But where was Connie?

I've no idea what happened to Connie. I presume she was either ditched or pulled out a while ago as they must've had the programmes done during the past week.
According to some reports, her tour has been cancelled due to poor ticket sales, so maybe she's cancelled all appearances

We wondered why they changed the running order, but I guess that was due to Ruthie Henshall doing the Songs of Praise thing. I wasn't keen on her duet with Barrowman at all.

Did John Barrowman sing as well as host?

He did. He sang "Sunset Boulevard", "Oh! what a circus" and "The Perfect Year".

Did he sing a duet with anyone?

Connie hasn't 'cancelled all appearances'. She wasn't there because she couldn't get there (she had a matinee performance of her show on Sunday, which would have made it impossible to get to the ALW party). As things turned out, she's also been ill during the last week, so that wouldn't have helped matters.

The Perfect Year was with Ruthie Henshall

I have to say, no offence to Ruthie, but John is SOO much better when he is singing by himself, his voice is more powerful then!!!!

Announcing her on the bill was a bit odd, in that case.

I agree - that was odd. She was announced pretty late on as well (about two or three weeks ago, I think).

I've done a 'Hyde Park Special' on the Jessie Blog (http://jessiebuckleyfanblog.blogspot.com) and have got loads of video and photographs.

Had such a blast - what a great concert!
