iPlayer on iPhone
Hi Folks.
Other forums suggest that it's possible to use BBC iPlayer on the 3G iPhone for streaming Radio (probably WIFI only though). But no-one actually says where to get the iPlayer version that runs on the iPhone. It doesn't appear in the iTunes APPS store and the iPlayer web site says that you need Real Player. Does anyone, please!, know how to get it installed??? Frustrated, but otherwise happy with iPhone. Morrisg |

Apart from some listen again which is also in flash, bbc radio is real and windows media. Whilst they've added h.264 for video for iPhone, I don't think they've done aac for radio. If they had you'd be able to stream it in your browser.

You can only watch tv programmes on the iPhone version of iPlayer, no radio yet. iPhone compatible radio streams are coming later this year, probably about October. No app will be required, just going to the bbc.co.uk/iplayer website in mobile Safari. Phazer |
