LCD HD TV picture broken

I was playing the Playstation 3 last night in HD then all of a sudden the screen filled with green purple lines in front the picture. I thought a lead had come loose but it is like it on every TV channel and on DVD's. I have disconnected everything but the picture still has green and purple lines all over it. Like digital interference.

Does anyone know what could be wrong.

Sounds like the video board is goosed, I've seen the same thing on a "Cheapo" LCD, from switch on green lines cut through the picture, and remained there like a sticker over the picture. At least it can be fixed, mate.
