Plasma fault ????
My 42" Thomson plasma tv has recently started to flash a totally black screen for a couple of seconds intermittantly no matter where the source comes from, is this a sign I may have to start saving for a new TV ???

Hi,
Did the OP fine out what the problem is caused by? My Plasma has started doing the black flashing, this happens rarely but now and again after 5-10 minutes of the Plasma being turned on. The flashing lasts only a few seconds and for the rest of the time its on its fine. I'm wondering if this is caused by the TV heating up as the flashing occurs about the same time after the set has been on. The flashing in itself is not a problem as it lasts only a few seconds now and again, but gives concern in case this is a symptom of a potential future headache! |

Your plasma is doing exactly what mine is, I will keep using mine until it gets so annoying that I will have to replace it.
