Where do slugs come from?

Where do slugs come from?
I was just outside having a ciggy and there were 3 massive slugs. However I had my ciggy on a first floor balcony. How the hell did they get there? Were they dropped by birds or something?

It's salt, but there is no need (its a bit cruel). Just pick them up and throw them back in the garden.

They are work of the devil !! What purpose do they have ? Ohhh they make my skin crawl we used to have them come though an air vent when we first moved in to our house thankfully I've had the vent closed up so no more squashed slugs between my toes

They are organic creatures, but I suppose some nutters might tell you a bloke in the sky created them one day because he felt like it.

Even if that was true, it would make the bloke a reet twunt.

They obviously come from Hell. They everything in my garden, except the weeds, then they lie down and wait for me to stand on them which makes me want to vomit.

I got a leaky kitchen window and they crawl through that, puts you off your cuppa tea in the morning lol

I get them at my door when it's raining. Nothing a little salt doesn't sort out though

Me and friend were having a fag at the door and we seen a huge one

I hate them. Yet it's only this year they have really started coming in.

OH MY GOD!!!

There is only one now but it is MASSIVE- its got strange markings on it as well. Its about 1.5cms thick and 8 cms long
