So I'm going through his Ipod. s there a way I can take the some of the msuic of the Ipod?

Ive connected it up to my computer and when i go to the ipod it only shows 2 artists, where as on his actual ipod there is 100's

any ideas guys?

thanks in advance

I am sorry for your loss.

Its possible you are looking at the files that are in disk mode, or mass storage mode that he'd put on there by mistake.
Are you viewing throught windows, or Itunes?

Althought Itunes will not let you download them to your computer. You need to download some 3rd party software. I'll try and track it down for you.

It really depends on what ipod it is, but seen as it has disc mode by the looks of it.

http://www.yamipod.com/

this software will let you select songs to copy back to your pc for you to do what you want with.

Or you could just connect the ipod to the pa/hifi system with one of these:http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?...45543&doy=11m8
and just play back.

yeah this would probably be the easiest option, but it would obviously depend on the ps system you would be using having the adequet input.

Ps. it wouldnt have to be a specific ipod retractable cord.
a standard phono lead would do exactly the same thing.

I just got an iPod touch and used imTOO IPOd to Computer Transfer software.

It's free. It allows you to do the first 100 items in bulk, then after that 1 at a time.

It's really great!

Sharepod, it's free and easy to use, you don't even need to install it on the IPOD, just straight on the pc and search for the IPOD and away you go....
