How long can I leave chilli in the fridge?
I cooked it yesterday evening and intended to finish it this evening.. however I now have plans!
Will it last until tomorrow? Or do I need to freeze it (very short on freezer space though so may not be able to) What about lunch tomorrow, will it last until then? |

It will be fine - I keep left overs in an airtight container for 48hrs - just make sure you chill it as soon as it's cool enough

![]() (Assuming it's been in the fridge of course!) I'd normally leave it 2-3 days quite happily (again, assuming it's in the fridge). |

I ended up having it yesterday afterall!!! Yep it had been in the fridge and yep it did taste much better after 'soaking" for 24 hours.
I just wasn't sure if I could leave it for 48 hours.... never mind. Its all gone now
