Looking for some camcorder buying help
Thanks first of all to anyone who helps me:
I'm looking for a new camcorder, just sold the old bulky Hi8 one and looking for something small and handy. I've got a few questions though: I can see there are basically 4 standards at the moment, tape, DVD, HDD and flash card, which one should i go for? From what i've read about DVD's i think i'm discounting them, and i'm not sure I see any benefits of flash card over hdd aside from the weight which doesn't really bother me. So i'm left with tape vs hdd, and i'm really drawn to HDD simply for the ease of use, no messing about with tapes and the fairly hefty recording time, also the straight to pc transfer sounds ideal. If thats the case and HDD is a good choice, is anyone able to recomend me a good one in say the sub £250 price range. The ones i've seen so far are JVC MG330, Sony SR35 and Panny H40, i'm open to any ideas or suggestions and would greatly appreciate them. |

Go for HDD no fiddly tapes or discs to keep changing and a much longer Recording time.
