You're the boss of a business. One of the staff decides she's having the next evening off. She takes the rota crosses out her name and writes yours in.

What do you do?

I sack her, because I know it's michelle.

Take off the wig that he used for disguise and boot him out of the pub.

What Michelle did tonight only made me dislike her even more than I did already. Steve needs to stop letting her walk all over him, she'd soon forgive him when she found herself on the street with nowhere to go (assuming Carla and Liam had no room at the inn). There's no way you'd let someone like Michelle just kick you out of your home and then boss you around in your own pub. Michelle should be sacked anyway, not because of changing the rota but because of the fact that she never does any work, she just stands there gossiping or whining, she's got to be the worst barmaid ever. And she wants to be in Corrie for years to come? What a joke.

If you did that in real life you would be sacked on the spot.

Michelle is extremely annoying when she does stuff like that. I liked how she wiped the pen off, but then Steve took it from her and put his hands all over it and there wasn't a smudge in sight

Exactly. Is it me or is she ALWAYS filing her nails in the bar? She was doing it again tonight. She will have no nails left soon.
And her behaviour tonight was awful. Its ridiculous that Steve actually put up with it. If i strolled into work tommorrow, crossed my name off the rota and said to my boss "you're working tommorow because i'm going clubbing; oh and by the way i'm moving into your house so you're leaving!", he would probably call the police to escort me from the building
Michelle has taken Steves home, taken over the pub and even his daughter. Yet she was ok to 'let' steve pick up ryan. Yet she had the cheek to have a go at him for telling ryan about the split. Did she think Ryan wouldn't notice?

I'm beginning to think that the Corrie writers don't like La Marsh.

Working as a Manager in Retail myself, none of my staff would be EVER allowed to do such a thing.

If one of my staff done that, they would be told to get their jacket and not worry about any further shifts. They are given plenty notice RE Days off/Holidays!

I watched it tonight with my Boyfriend and i was like 'What??? If one of my staff done that, then they wouldn't be back!'

Ah yes the curses of working in retail

I found myself shouting at that too and when Michelle and Becky huffed about cleaning glasses!

It's about time they kick her out of the pub and make her sew knickers.

I know what you are saying, but if one of your staff happened to be your boyfriend (at logger-heads as it is) what would you do, as Michelle is not just a member of the staff.

Although you are right, she kinda IS just a member of staff now - seeing as she wont have anything to do with Steve.

I was shocked yesterday by the liberties she took. I kept yelling at the screen WHOSE PUB IS THIS ...... but Steve didnt listen. It made me smile though, as a few people yesterday said the same thing to Steve.

:
Yes I have noticed this before, Surely this would not be allowed under Health and Safetly. If I was in a pub and someone behind the bar was filing their nails I would walk back out, especially if they served food there too.

Nah - they should stick her in the corner shop stacking shelves, and let molly free. That'll teach michelle, being stuck indoors all day with Dev

I know, and to think she was voted Corrie's best ever barmaid. Unbelievable.

Average age of the voters in that poll = 5, I assume.

maybes the producers are making her an unlikable character, because surely they would realise that no one could possibly like michelle and be on her side in this
