I got these chicken thighs in the fridge that I'm going to have for lunch after I wake up sometime later today when I remember to go to sleep.

Really I don't like the taste of oven baked chicken, I think it's a bit crap and I don't want to have to wait 40 minutes for them to cook. I was just wondering, if I put a bit of oil in a pan and cook them, will that be okay?

Also I've always wanted to know what level should the heat be up if i am cooking them on the hob? Mother always say to have the heat low so it cooks in the middle, is that right as I tend to have the gas up really high down to my own sheer impatience.

You have to be careful pan frying thighs because of the bone but, yes, it can be done. Cook them on a medium heat to make sure they are cooked the whole way through. What are you going to serve them with?

Um...I don't know its only me eating them so I might just do them alone. Or some pasta. I would say beans but thats too messy isnt it?

when you eventually wake up, you could try frying them to colour them off first. They'll taste much better in the oven then.
