Source: Nielsen Ratings posted at: http://tv.zap2it.com/tveditorial/tve...7C1%7C,00.html

Wednesday's (9/10) live eviction show had a 7.2 rating - the highest of the season so far - beating the show's previous high of 6.9 on 8/27. BB4 easily beat The West Wing which was 2nd with a 5.4 rating. BB4 also was the #1 program among all shows that night for the key 18-49 demographic group.

REMINDER: There will be no friday recap episode in the U.S. (BB4's normal spot is being taking by CSI: Crime Scene Investigations - the #1 rated TV program in America. Have any of you Brits ever seen CSI?)

BTW, I never heard of Graham Norton until I heard his name on the UK BB boards. It made me curious & I've been catching his show which is shown on the BBC America cable channel.

I have never properly watched CSI / CSI:Miami but we do get them over here on five.

I hope BB4 is doing great on E4 as that could persuade them to buy BB5 USA next year! Even if we dont get the direct link, the 3 shows a week would be enough!

So how many people would that roughly be? I've always wondered just how popular BB is over there.

A household Rating is the estimate of the size of a television audience relative to the total universe, expressed as a percentage. As of September 23, 2002, there are an estimated 106.7 million television households in the U.S. A single national household ratings point represents 1%, or 1,067,000 households.

So it's not hugely popular then? I'm quite surprised.
