Hi, I've had my 9200t for around 2-3 years..

..Recently, it's started recording programmes at random (shows that me and wifey would never watch..)

It only happens every few weeks..

Anyone else experienced this...?

Do you have kids, or pets? My 9200t mysteriously fills up with kids programmes... unless I hide the remote. Seriously though, it sounds like the sort of problem that would be cured by a reset to defaults.

Yes, I've had this issue before. I can't remember exactly when it last happened, so it might even have been with my last PVR and not the Humax 9200T I have now.

I put it down to bad series link data from the broadcaster rather than a PVR problem.

Next time it happens, see if you have the series link icon on the recording in question.

Yes as advised above do a defaults setting, then channel scan, re-enter user preferences, then set your events.

If the rogue programmes were all from one broadcaster, it is likely they are tenuously linked as part of a series - I set a programme on BBC several months ago, which flagged up as series, then I had loads of odd late-night documentaries from BBC three or BBC four also recorded.

Channel 5 by any chance? I tend to find some of their Series Link's are a bit odd!
