No audio?

I have a Goodmans 306R dvd recorder and has been very reliable, however have a slight problem.

I bought a James Bond DVD, the menu audio works but when the actual film starts there is no audio at all. I have tried different settings on the dvd player but no difference, i have audio on menus but not the film.

however...

when i put the dvd into my pc it works fine, have audio on both the menus and film

...does any one have any suggestions as to why the dvd has no audio on the actual dvd player.??

Just check its playing the Dolby soundtrack not a DTS one in case your player does not support it
