I emailed HO c4 a while back and said is there any chance of a dvd release of old episodes or greatest moments dvd, and they said they have no plans to because there isnt enough 'demand', now it's 2 months later and i thought what if i start a petition? i know lots do petitions and never get anywhere, but it cant hurt can it?

So if you'd like to see a HO dvd in the future, I am doing a petition soon, the petiton should be up today/tomorow, latest monday, who will sign?

I really want to see the whole of 2000 - I never saw the episodes when Luke was raped and I heard they were really good

I'd love to see them release old episodes of Hollyoaks on DVD, but sadly I don't think it'll happen. 'Insufficient demand' is possibly the lamest excuse Channel 4 could use, how on earth would they know how much demand there is without giving it a trial run, or at least asking the people that matter - us viewers.

Hollyoaks has so far had two releases, Off on One (1998) and Indecent Behaviour (2001), which I believe sold well. If only Channel 4 would have faith in the new Hollyoaks, and the viewers who have invested in the show since the 2006 revamp which brought the show to new heights.

Episodes I'd like to see from the first few years:

October 1995 - The first episode
March 1996 - Natasha's death
September 1996 - Holiday in Ibiza
November 1996 - Rob and Dermot's car crash
February 1997 - Siege, Michael's death
May 1997 - Kurt and Ruth's wedding
June 1997 - Kurt's trial
August 1997 - Julie jilts Tony at the altar
October 1997 - Stan and Ollie's car crash
December 1997 - Dawn dies, Cindy gives birth
June 1998 - Jambo leaves
January 1999 - Kurt leaves
August 1999 - Gordon and Helen wed
September 1999 - The watertank kidnap
December 1999 - The bus explosion, Rob's death
March 2000 - Breaking Boundaries - Luke's rape
April 2000 - Skiing trip
October 2000 - Jill's death
December 2000 - Finn's stag night in Barcelona

I've signed but I think it's unlikely they'll change their minds. Hollyoaks attracts about 3 million viewers at the most. I would say more than half of this audience wouldn't consider buying a Hollyoaks DVD which means it wouldn't be commercially viable for Channel 4 then again stranger things have happened so who knows.

Well who knows what will happen.
18 signs so far. which isnt bad for 1 day, i hope we can get more, it's going to be hard but i heard we would need atleast 100 for c4 to take it into consideration.
