From the far-too-revealing DS interviews with the judges and hosts, I already knew Rachel a JLS got through, but I think a few people watching would've thought "no" automatically because of her story about prison and her funny banter with the judges... I can imagine a lot of people were blown away by her when she sang.

Will middle Britain vote in their droves for someone with criminal convictions, especially a black female.

I know leona won last year- shes mixed race and female. But in the past females let alone black females have a history of going out earlier than they should. I do think her unique talent will take her far though, hopefully!
