I have downloaded a load of music from I tunes over the past couple of years which is ok for my Ipod, the thing is I am going to get myself a garmin zumo 550 sat nav for my motorcycle and it has a built in mp3 player, but I have been told that I will not be able to put music from itunes on to the garmin, does anyone know of any easy way around this.

If they're from iTunes, most (if not all) of them will be DRM'd. (Protected .... hence why you can't just drop them on your Garmin)

You need to get rid of the DRM to use them elsewhere.

Not sure if there is any way of simply converting the file to get rid of the DRM .... not that I'm aware of.

The answer that comes up most times is to burn them as a music CD and then re-rip them all again.

Which:

1. Is a VERY long way for a shortcut.
2. Reduces the quality of the end file.

It sucks, but thats DRM'd music for you.
