If you really want to stay with Nokia, then it maybe worth your while holdingout till October before you renew your contract & get the N96.
I was originally really keen on getting this phone, but have since foundout that there is a really good 8mp Samsung phone getting released in September. |

I'd get the Sony Ericsson C902. Stable, fast, reliable, and not to mention a fantastic camera - 5MP Cybershot.

the most reasonable upgrade for someone who was happy with the 6300 in my opinion would be the nokia 6220 classic, its a very capable midrange handset and even has a 5mp with real flash (not even the unreleased N96 has a real flash). It wont cost you an arm and a leg either. If your on an expensive contract, then you can go for one of the high range phones other have recommended.

A lot will depend on which network the OP is on. As none of them will stock the entire Nokia range.

I have a 6230i and i'm due an upgrade but i'm on O2 and their current upgrades are very limited.
They stopped doing the Samsung Tocco and Nokia N95 and have no dates for the N96. I'm a £50+ a month user so I want a decent handset for the next 18 months. Might go on a month to month contract til the upgrades pick up as I dont want to pay out for an Iphone which is my only other option. |
