Have seen some integrated HDD Freeview devices with Wi-Fi and HDMI but too much for me with Sky HD and a DVD Recorder already.

All I need is a simple little WiFi Box that connects to the LCD Screen preferably with HDMI so I can watch stuff on my PC and browse the net and view BBC i-player etc.

Does such a thing exist at a reasonable price yet?

Xbox 360 does streaming of most stuff with 1080p output and neworkable

Never thought about a games console.

I suppose if the XBox does the job then being able to play games would be a nice extra feature.... then again if the PS3 does the same it has a Blu Ray player built in.

I use a PS3 for streaming my media to the TV. I use a wored connection though, not wireless. I haven't looked, but I believe that the PS3 has wireless built in (bought mine 2nd hand, spur of the moment thing).

It does an excellent job of playing my media and I believe that the BBC are keen to launch iPlayer on the PS3.

There seems to be a worksround at the moment, though I can't check as I am not in the UK. www.ps3iplayer.com
