Question about BB8 (Spoilers for BB8)
Spoilers tag there just in case.
Anyway, why did America like Evel Dick so much? I mean, I wasn't a Daniele fan but I could understand why people might have liked her, but Dick? He was vile, and crude, and horrible, and really mean to everyone. It really shocked me, the week that it was Dustin vs. Dick on the block, and America wanted Eric to campaign against Dustin! Dick was really harsh to everyone (except Daniele of course), but people seemed to really like him; his real-player cast is popular, he's popular on House Calls as a co-host even though he acts like an idiot 90% of the time. I'm just confused, lol. Can someone tell me why America liked him? |

I'm not quite sure why America liked him so much, but he was obviously quite popular. I think it was because he said exactly what he thought all the time where they are so used to houseguests who say one thing behind someones back and are then really nice to him. I think also the whole mending his relationship with Daniele thing possibly helped America warm to him. With that being said a lot of his behaviour was out of order.

![]() All I saw from the main show + feed clips was Dick bullying people (granted none of them were exactly nice, but he was so much more personal with his attacks than the rest of them). And Danielle soon started to encourage this behaviour when they got closer. So, care to tell me why "ED and Danni were the best!"? |

He had a moderately huge internet following, seemingly consisting of people who enjoy horrible things happening to other people.
It didn't hurt that his son was a FM of another large fansite, was young, cute and made people feel involved in that particular series. |

She also had to work around him since he kept screwing up things by opening up his big fat mouth. He took credit for everything and since he was so loud and never shut up she wasn't given her due imo. |

Dick is currently the most popular BB player of all time, topping the polls with Janelle, Kaysar and Will following behind.
I went up and down with my like for Dick, sometimes I hated him (when he was foul to Jen) but other times I loved him (waking up the house with pots and pans). Thing is Dick played the type of game we hadn't ever seen before which was entertaining, he said what was on his mind and he showed up the other players like Amber and Jameka to be hypocrites. He was also a big fan of the show and knew how the game worked, so it was good that an actual fan was on the show rather than someone called in through a casting agency. And of course his relationship with his daughter helped endear him to the public. |

I imagine it was just because he was such a caricature. And he was KRAY-ZAY. But I just thought he was a knob (no pun intended). He certainly deserved to win, though - especially over his brattish daughter
