Any red wine experts out there?
I just got a cheap bottle of Villa Radiosa, Valpolicella 2006.
I've had it before, easy drinking red but the bottle I have opened tonight (exactly the same make as before) has an odd little fizz to it, does anyone know why that might be? |

I googled this and the only thing i can find regarding wine with bubbles/slight fizz is that it is going through secondary fermentation.
Maybe this is what has happened to yours ??? |

if it tastes OK, drink it, if not chuck it away.
not really a problem Anyway, one of the nicest wines (but not for every day drinking) is a sparkling shiraz |

Funnily enough I ended up switching them for two Shiraz Scilia, both tasting as they should. No fizz! Nikk/Zen My sister suggested they were fermenting in the bottle, they really were vile
