My beloved X-230's are ill. The right hand speaker has a loose connection between it and the left speaker, meaning everytime I type quickly my desk wobbles slightly and it cuts out momenterily. So, I think it's time for an upgrade.
Are the X-240's any good? Ebuyer has mainly good reviews, and they are the successor to the X-230's. Does anyone reccommend any decent 2.1 sets? Dont really need a trailing remote like the 240's have, but what would be nice is a seperate bass connector, to take advantage on my mobo's 7.1 plugs. Maybe being a bit of a luddite in these areas, but can you get 2.1 speakers with seperate left, right and sub connectors?
Either way, can anyone suggest anything? £80 is my budget unless I can get speakers made of gold for £100!
