iPlayer problems with iPod Touch / AOL
ZListersMustDie

Hope someone can help
A relative of mine is unable to play any iPlayer content on his ipod touch. The only difference between his set up and mine is that he is on AOL (I'm on Virgin)
He can access iplayer on his PC, but when he wants to play content on his ipod, he just gets a feint "play" arrow and can't get any further

The picture on the link shows the difference between hi iplayer screen and mine

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how this problem can be resolved ?

Thanks - but I don't think Jailbreaking is the answer - if it was my ipod touch I might give it a go, but as it isn't ...

Surely there must be another answer ?

I've just tried it on my none jailbroken iPod Touch and it works fine, i'm running 2.0.2 version software.

Yeah Im sorry, I should have given a better answer then that.

I would also suggest upgrading to the latest firmware which at current is 2.0.2 and also try clearing your history, cache and cookies in Safari by going to the Settings on your touch

Good Luck and let us know if it worked

Looks like the problem has been solved by changing the default MTU setting from 1432 to 1450 which seems to have done the trick
He now has iplayer on his iPod Touch !
