I heard somewhere recently that CBS are thinking about doing an international version of big brother under the US format.

Anyone know where it was that I could have heard it? Or heard it themselves?

I think it would be quite interesting. Not a big fan of the US format (over produced and too bitchy imo) but with some adaptions made to accomodate UK and AU contestants, it could work.

I may have just been dreaming though, as it is 7:14 in the morning.

I haven't heard about this, I know Gretchen Massey on Housecalls said she'd love for there to be an international version but there are no plans as far as I know.


BBUK is far bitchier! And it's worse in ours because the bitching isn't even for any specific reason, it's just because they are nasty people, at least in BBUSA the bitching is usually about the game and strategy.

Yeah, but imo it's less contrived. I'm not saying i hate the other format, just not a big fan of it.
