You're spot on about Bidmead. The script was a terrible baffling mess. He thought the Tardis within aTardis idea was cool, but had no idea of how to execute the idea. I feel embarrassed for him during his dvd interviews. He claims they wanted to get the show back to what it was, but they ended up making it into a joke. If you're going to write good science fiction, you need a good science fiction writer. Its not enough to fill it with psuedo-scientific rubbish.
