Yeah that's true! And we get to see him onscreen more on Strictly than we would in Holby so its all good!

I know what you mean, brendan's girl! (About being obsessed!). I am glad Tom's doing it really, as I needed someone to *rave* about - I didn't think I'd be able to find someone to really love as much as I loved Mattesha last year, but I think Tom will be sufficient enough to distract me from the need to fill that gap!

(I hope that makes sense, I'm not just using Tom as a distraction, I do really like him!)

Same with me! My friend thinks I'm only backing him because he's lush. But I do genuinly love his acting and think that he seems like a lovely bloke

We were just talking about that at work today... we have a staff night out once a month and we are all in agreement that they will have to move to Friday until Xmas....

Most of my friend's birthdays (and mine) are around the run of SCD though! For my birthday though, I usually go out with my friends and tape Strictly, then come back (with my friends) and watch it at least twice through - it's like having two nights out - except one is a night in!

We're throwing a party for the first show, but I'm thinking I might have to tape it some weeks because I'm moving to a new city and my mates have big nights out planned.

One advantage of the Sunday show is that its not too late to go out after Strictly finishes on a Saturday.

I know what you mean!! I don't want Tom or Christine to go out early on in the series (although I could handle it if Christine did, I suppose as I would still be able to see a certain Mr Cutler in the pro group dances. ).

Has anyone seen the article about Tom in the Sun today?It mentions his You Tube dance video. And I think the article has been lifted off DS... it contains a quote that sounds like someone off one of these threads...

I'm happy for Camilla that she's got a fighting chance of doing well with Tom - but I am still going to wait to see if he has the potential to win/engages me enough before I start to vote seriously. Might have to vote to keep Camilla in until I see if he's worth it though.

I agree boddism...the whole thing has DS written all over it! Rather gratifying really We should be on a percentage! I don't know how they manage it, but they have a talent for headlines that promise fireworks but deliver cheap sparklers that fizzle out before the end...Ho hum!

I'll definatly be voting for them because I want to see his dancing progress over the weeks. Also will vote for Brendan (my screenname probably says it all ) and another couple depending on who I warm to.

He's such a lovely guy. I met him in october 06 at elstree and he was with us for about 20 minutes. Didn't know who he was then cos i stopped watching Holby for a while but started watching again the week after lol
