Josh's entry ruined by E4s happy pappy censoring!
I really wanted to watch Josh's entery properly, but because of E4s REALLY stupid, overreactive and is now getting annoying cencoring, for over a minute after Josh's entry we could not hear any sound as E4 were yet again censoring things out that probabally wasnt even swearing. Pathetic.

It's absoultely disgusting!!! There are far too many gaps, and all they are doing is chatting with Josh.
If there's swearing, fair enough, but nobody swears for a full minute. |

Probably saving it for the Channel 4 shows...
Too many gaps and advert breaks (3 in 15 mins is totally over the top!)

Does anyone know what was said in the minute before and after Josh came in? And if they did, was it swearing?

Lexus, while 3 ad breaks in 15 minutes is extreme and unwanted, they did go for over an hour without a break of any kind - the hour covering Josh's entrance into the house.
Seeming as they have to have a set number of breaks for the advertisers, surely you can cope with them after E4 moving them to satisfy the live viewers. Or will you lot just complain about everything to do with BB live on E4? |

I totally understand that they have to edit out swearing, but why when there are 2 streams, one has the audio & the other doesn't.
I'm constantly flicking between the two streams on BB interative. The first stream that is on normal E4, (Live A), seems to have stuff blanked out that Live B doesn't, (When both streams are in the same room). |

The censoring is stupid, whenever some of the housemates start talking about something interesting, e.g. like what they think of another person in the house it always cuts the sound, its stupid, all we get is the boring bits with elizabeth droaning on about nothing, everything good seems to be censored

I bet about 70% of the stuff that is cencored isnt even bad (expecially as it seems to stay on for about 2 mins at a time).

I can understand that the swearing needs to be cut, but dumping huge chunks of the conversation is excessive (unless as many are now thinking it is to save to best bits for C4).
If they can't do accurate bleeping on a 10 minute delay, then make it a longer delay and give us more sound! I wouldn't be bothered, anyone else? |

Like most i'm going to agree, with the censoring and the adverts (sometimes shown after 5 minutes from the last one) it makes it practically un-watchable. I was so pis**ed off that i was close to writing a very rude email to E4, luckily i controlled myself as otherwise my ISP account would have been cancelled

Its a shame me watching here on NTL only has the E4 feed and this means I have to put up with big long gaps (sometimes up to 5 minsuites) and most of the time there is nothing being blanked out that is actually bad.

Also anyone else noticed that you can keep BB Internactive on 24 hours if you load BB (i) before 8pm and keep it on screen until the BB live late show after 11pm. (if you press back up it still allows you to press the red button again after 8pm, but change channel and moving back to 205 loses the link) |

I agree wholeheartedly with the comments above. I think the coverage on E4 is spoiled by the over-zealous censors. I think none of us have an issue with the removal of swearing and libellous comments (although that would be interesting), but I can't believe that this is all that is being removed. I'd like E4 to state exactly what they are removing. Is there an email address we can all use, I'm sure if enough of us queried it, they'd hopefully feel obliged to give us an honest response.

Originally posted by John Doc Yes I have noticed. This is because the interactive service shuts down and when it returns it contains a warning on the opening screen about language and sex and all of the feeds are uncensored. That's why it shuts down for an hour and a half.

When CH4 showed Josh's entry on the highlights show, there was nothing said worth censoring for at least the first minute. Most annoying to say the least.
